Before I got involved in flying as a drone operator, I owned and managed a successful insurance brokerage and have helped and advised many businesses grow and harness opportunities. If you are looking for a professional, experienced manager for your project or website, welcome to eVolution Consultants, This is the Project Management and Website aspect of my business, which I operate alongside my drone aerial photography business.
Specialising in management projects connected with motorsport events and using my personal experience as a motorcycle racer, race official, club member and with a long experience of sales and marketing in business, I have a good understanding of what works and what doesn't and what might need attention, including website design, content, management and marketing.
Building on the site of my old Four Counties Insurance Brokers office in St Neots, this is a new-build of 8 luxury, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments. I have really enjoyed being involved in the project, initially as a property developer and investor and more recently as the building work was completed in August 2020, I managed the sales and. marketing, successfully selling all 8 apartments despite the challenging restrictions imposed by the covid pandemic.
Take a look at the website I have designed and published and you'll see lots of photos, including some aerial views and 360° interactive video tours - GeorgeHouseStNeots.co.uk
The Classic Racing Motorcycle Club is one of the largest racing motorcycle clubs of its' type in Europe and from 2011 to 2019, I designed and maintained the website. I've been involved with the club for over 25 years, as a competitor, a scrutineer, eligibility official and latterly as Chairman, stepping down after 5 years at the end of 2018.
Keeping members informed about news and events, as well as attracting new members has been a key requirement. I've succesfully marketed the website, drastically increasing web traffic and raised the Google page rank from 1 to 4.
For 2018, I designed and introduced a prototype online entry form, so members could register their details, enter races and parades and pay by card. A more extensive system has since been developed and went live in November 2019, which now automates race entries and event management. For the 2024 season, I am working on a brand new website for CRMC, which should go live soon, ready for the start of the new racing season.
I am very proud and pleased to be involved with the Classic TT in the Isle of Man, working as the Eligibility Officer and helping devise and manage the rules for machines in the event.
The first event held in 2013 was a fantastic success and each successive year it has grown and become even more successful, with more bikes and more people and more racing. After COVID pandemic forced everything to stop, we've had a 3-year break as the 2020 and 2021 events were cancelled and the event has been relaunched from 2022 under the Manx GP banner. Many changes have been introduced and there is a new, shorter schedule which we all hope will enable this historic event to continue for many more years.
I was very pleased to be involved in the Goodwood Revival in 2014 and 2015 as an Eligibility Consultant, helping the existing team determine the machines involved in the motorcycle part of the event. Apart from the fantastic array of classic bikes and cars, military vehicles and aircraft, everyone enthusiastically dresses up in the fashions of the day - in 2014, the event focus was pre-1954, so for me it was white overalls and a cap! Great stuff!
The guys running Endurance Legends and Classic Bike Trackdays were keen to replace both their old websites with fresh new websites that looked good and are easy for them to maintain. Commerce websites are notoriously difficult to combine functionality, payment systems and an attractive and easy navigation for the customer, but these websites look great and work well using the itseeze system that I have used many times for similar needs.
